The second book in Ms. Byrne’s Faustin Brothers series is packed with more action, adventure and heart-stopping romance than you can shake a garlic press at. Gregor is the quintessential young vampire: cocky, arrogant, with a sense of entitlement that a good heroine is bound to set right. And Maddy is the perfect heroine for Gregor. She’s his total opposite, and while at first Gregor thinks that’ll keep him safe from the hand of destiny, he soon realizes those differences only make her irresistible to him. Not only is Bound by Blood a delightful romance, it’s also a very competent comedy. Readers who enjoy their vampires with a sense of humor will adore Ms. Byrne’s latest offering.
