Dawn Montgomery again wraps this new installment around the eroticism of Elena and Drake. Elena seems to be thriving as she learns to use and control her powers. I'm a little disappointed that some of the threads and side stories such as the disappearance of Drake's daughter haven't been resolved. Call me blood thirsty but the ending seemed to come too easily after two books to build up the anticipation. In spite of those two things the eroticism and the basic premise of evil being relative is still fun. Drake may be a demon but he's a very good demon who will stop at nothing to do away with those who are really evil. Ms. Montgomery did a fine job with this but I would like to see several more books to wrap up the parts that tease me by being unresolved.
