Dawn Montgomery weaves a tale of eroticism and mystery that will leave the reader wanting more. Elena and Drake seem like quite a pair when their raging hormones take over. Their sexual escapades help drive the book and make them more committed to finding the ones who want them both dead. Elena has been given some shifting powers that overwhelm her, especially when angry. She's not very nice to one of Drake's twin bodyguards when she's angry. A temper tantrum from a woman with real claws and fangs is not a pretty thing to see. The reader may feel a little lost with this tale if you haven't read the first book, Bound in Lust, that fills in the details. By the end you'll be craving more of these two but have to wait for Book III in the Trilogy for the final battles.
