Misunderstanding has compounded the disaster to the point where Lisa and Ben don't even know what to do to repair the damage or whether they should even try. Tess Lamont gives us this story and asks us to trust that her characters may be able to reclaim what they have lost and maybe even surpass it. The chemistry between Lisa and Ben gives the reader a taste of what can happen when two people are ultimately suited to meet each other's needs, whether they are 'vanilla' or of darker ilk. The accoutrement of bondage, pain and pleasure becoming one, the master/slave relationship. Needless to say, the bedroom activities in this book are not for the faint of heart, but contain lessons in loving we can all learn from. Ultimately, the question remains, can Lisa and Ben get past their past? You will have to read this book to find out, but as smoothly written as it is, that will be no chore.
