Darcy Phillips is an artist. Her specialty is the creation of vibrant, warm, sensual paintings. The coolness in her relationship with her fianc didnt prepare her for the heated picture of finding him in bed with two blondes. Needing to desperately get away, she packs up and heads back home. The timing is actually perfect: her parents are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary. They just dont yet know that she is coming home to stay.

Thomas Mac MacAllister was always the boy next door and her best friend. In the last few years they hadnt had much contact, but her first physical sight of him in the garden has her feeling a very wet surge of lust. And what is the meaning of her dream, when he without any lead up gives her a whopper of a kiss, literally a sopping sexy one; just what is she supposed to think? They had never had such a relationship.

Mac has always wanted Darcy; heck, the reason he isnt already married is because of Darcy. His anger at her fianc hurting her by having the nerve and cowardice to claim that Darcy is cold and frigid enables Mac to use the desire he sees in her eyes and show her just how hot and passionate a woman she truly is. They have just one problem; each believes the other wants only sex.

Oh, this novel is just delicious. All the right elements, starting with a great plot, warm loving characters and the bad guy who gets his due. A recommended read for all romance lovers who like spicy hot sex.
