All Caidon wants to do is tour and be part of the band. That is until he meets Spud. Spud has long been the one the members of the band go to whenever they need sexual comfort or aid, while on tour. When Caidon joins the band, he stirs things up when he decides he wants a monogamous relationship with Spud. The band does not like the fact that Caidon is taking Spud away from them. Spud can't understand why the band is not happy for them. Can Spud and Caidon find a way to be together before it tears them apart?

This was a fun way to pass the time. I have long been a fan of this author's cowboy characters and Caidon and Spud are no different. The book is really a quick read and I wish there had been a bit more to the story line, as you never do really learn exactly what causes all the hard feelings between Caidon, Spud and Joe. The characters of Caidon and Spud are sweet together when they are not having sex, which is rare. I like how Caidon treats Spud with respect and as a person just not someone to meet his needs like the rest of the band did. The secondary characters are not too much a part of the story except for Steve who ends up supporting the men's relationship. Did I mention the men have a lot of sex? In fact, they have so much sex that it's almost easy to forget the storyline isn't just that. I think if the sex doesn't bother you this will be a fun story to read during these long hot summer days, when a cowboy and cold drink sound good anytime.
