| On her wedding day, Madison Bellini runs from her cheating fiancé who sleeps with everyone except her. She also runs from her high society family that is using her and lying to her. She decides what she needs is to find herself a sexy cowboy. Little does she know that when she crashes her car through a covered bridge and ends up in the river, that wish might come true.
Ty Kirkland isn’t looking for a woman. He has had enough spoiled deceitful women and money problems to last him a lifetime. But when he sees a little yellow car run off the bridge and sink into the river below, he saves the beauty inside. The fact that she is an oil heiress and has amnesia from her accident makes him see her as the answer to both his problems. So when she wakes up he tells her that she is his fiancée. Ty did not expect his family to love Madison any more than he expected to be so drawn to her physically that it was almost painful. He didn't expect to fall for her himself and he certainly did not plan on wanting their fake engagement to be real. J. T. Schultz has written an excellent story that truly has it all, romance, lots of sex, love, deceit, lies and even a crazed ex-lover. It had me on the edge of my seat at times and at other times I had to laugh. She did a wonderful job of drawing me into this story and keeping me there until the last page with the believable characters and the true to life feelings between them.
