At First Sight by Laura Hamby
Whitney Elena Adams never imagined she would find herself trapped with Mr. Right inside an elevator. After traveling on the road for fourteen years, Bradley Martin Wright discovers the woman of his dreams when a mishap lands her securely in his arms. Now, sixteen hours later, after practically sharing their whole life with each other, as well as their dreams, Whitney realizes Brad is the one man she wishes to spend the rest of her life with. When Brad suddenly pops the question, they wonder what their parents will think about this elevator romance? Can a girl who works at an international charity foundation find everlasting love with a truck driver?

At First Sight is a sequel to Sukie's Dance from the first Brides and Bouquets Anthology. The enchanting story shows how anyone can be bitten by the love bug anywhere. The refreshing characters of Whitney and Brad are wonderfully formed and the dialogue superb. Toss in some well-rounded secondary characters and it makes for one delicious love at first sight. Ms. Hamby has created a captivating sequel to Sukie's Dance and once again fashioned lovely people that leave a lasting impression. She writes a story that satisfies. I loved the premise of the couple being trapped inside the elevator to discover love and the sprinkling of the parents and other secondary characters creates one unforgettable read.

Jack and Jenny by Rebecca Ruger
Jennifer Barrie and Jack McKenna have carried a secret for years. They both have a crush on each other but neither has told the other. With her brother's wedding quickly approaching, Jack needs help. Not only is he the best man at the wedding but he and Mark have been friends for many years and business partners. Jack hurriedly needs some dancing lessons so he turns to Jennifer, which means she will be spending some close time with Jack. After Jennifer's sister, Kimmy spills her own beans about Jennifer's crush; it opens the door for Jack. But first the two must forge through some hurdles and confusions so they can stop their procrastinating and unveil their true love for each other.

Jack and Jenny is a sweet story with two charming characters that keep their secret crush at bay. Throw in a brother's wedding, a sister who doesn't know how to manage her tongue, and there is bound to be some surprises along the way. But Jack and Jenny's final determination is not about to let anything stop their love for one another. When Jack called her, his love, I thought my heart would melt. Ms. Ruger spins a well-written romance that leaves the heart filled with elated joy with some in-depth secondary characters that reach out and touch the reader.

Bride's Maid in Heaven by Lyndell King
Twins, Katie and Janie Kleeble are busy with Janie's wedding preparations. In two days Janie will be married but it appears she is inundated with pre-wedding events that continue to arise. Katie decides to step in, stressing the importance on priorities and she calls upon the best man, Brad who is also Mack's best friend. She is certain he can toss in some help, but neither Brad nor Katie suspected love would be on the other side of the door when neither had plans to ever find a mate in life.

Bride's Maid in Heaven is a most charismatic read. Brad and Katie are lovely characters who weave a tale of bride-to-be frazzles during a wedding planning, while trying to create a happy ending. Ms. King pens a pleasant story that keeps the readers interest. She incorporates well-rounded secondary characters that really enhance. This is one spinning good tale that this reader enjoyed.

Brides and Bouquets 2006: an Anthology of three beautiful bridal stories is magnificently crafted and carries the reader into a preview of three unusual circumstances that surround the everlasting pursuit for love. From discovering love in an elevator, to secret crushes, to finding that one mate standing so close nearby, these romantic stories with believable characters are picturesque.
