Anise Meyers has had a varied employment career. Her new job as lead consultant at Tiffany Weddings could be the perfect fit. Of course, a few fibs from Anise and her dear friends helped land the job. And now she must provide a dream wedding for her ex and his snotty new bride. But after sixty-three non-perfect jobs, Anise is up for the challenge.

Anise must plan five weddings in the next four months. Client Evelyn Chase‘s nuptials could be even more difficult than those of ex-spouse Brendon and blonde husband stealer Allison.

Evelyn is insisting on the luxurious North Point Resort, but the owner has a very definite no-weddings policy. Anise’s efforts to convince Alexander Covington to break that rule lead to a truly sweet and enjoyable romance.

Anise is funny, clumsy and prone to embarrassing adventures. Alex is a joy -- strong intelligent, sexy and rich. Their road to romance takes some very amusing detours.

Anise’s coworkers in the wedding industry are fascinating. Tiffany Weddings has never had a cancellation, and the consequences could be dire for anyone responsible for breaking that rule. Assistant Megan Finnegan is willing to be her buddy for as long as Anise keeps the job. Strict boss Shelly has a bit more to her than we are led to believe at first. Paul is amusing. Donna is, well, sneaky. Backstabbing is not uncommon, but Anise has a way of charming those around her - at least those who really matter.

The brides can be real prima donnas. Shunta Montgomery provides a humorous and thoroughly enjoyable peek at the duties of a wedding planner, along with a pleasant and rewarding love story. This book provides interesting insights and a lot of fun.
