| Declan and Pam had both been married to not so sterling partners in the past and neither marriage held good memories for either of them. They were friends for many years and from that friendship developed the notion of becoming sex buddies with no emotional attachment. The sex was off the wall great, with Declan and Pam fulfilling each others fantasies and wishes. However, the deaths of several of Declan’s patients cast doubts on their trust of each other, and they have to work together to find the killer, before one of them becomes the next victim.
What a fantastic suspenseful book! Declan and Pam both know what constitutes a bad relationship and together they realize what a treasure they have in each other. The emotions the characters experience are artfully written and make the reader understand what motivates their actions. Even though the doubts are there because of their past relationships, the trust they have for each other shines through. The author has written several twists into the plot to keep you guessing as to who the murderer really is. Overall, this is a fantastic suspenseful book with lots of hot, spicy sex scattered throughout. Mild BDSM is featured with the main characters with more intense BDSM playing a minor role.
