| Dominique has just arrived in San Francisco to visit with her longtime friend Lilith. Lilith is down in the dumps about her love life so Dominique sets herself to help her friend but doesn’t count on the road bumps that meeting Antoine Thierry brings.
Mardi Ballou has built a very intriguing world in this book and I would like to visit it again. Dominique and Antoine have chemistry to boot which is obvious from the beginning. I would like to have seen a little more of Lilith and her family and maybe a little more background on Dominique and her family but overall I found Byte Marks to be a quick and enjoyable read. If you like stories featuring ghouls, vampires, witches, strong heroes and equally strong heroines then Byte Marks will be right up your alley.
