| Nicholas and Grey have been partners for almost a year-partner in business, in bed and, hopefully, in love. At one time their were three of them. Jimmie, was originally Grey's lover, died some years ago of cancer and was mourned by the other two men. Although Nicholas and Grey are now lovers, Nicholas is afraid that he will never measure up to Jimmie and that Grey will never love him as well. At Celebration De La Vie (or Valentine's Day), an ancient evil Native American legend rises to cause mischief once again.
Amazing, enthralling and heart-stopping-Cafe Noctem was all of these. I fell into the enchantment of long ago legend and modern day love from the first moment. This story flows seamlessly. Nicholas and Grey stepped right out of the book and into my heart. Their difficulties, and the possible solutions were heart-wrenching. The addition of an evil snake from old legend bound the story together beautifully. As few as they were, the secondary characters added texture to the story, but I never lost sight of Nicholas and Grey. Their lovemaking was graphic, erotic and made sure that I could not put down this book until I had finished-and then I read it again! Ms. Okati has outdone herself!
