| The day before the important wedding of the bride-to-be Sissy, turned Bridezilla, caused all the people involved to jump to attention because of the orders Sissy was issuing…all, that is, except Marissa Hughes, long-time family friend. Their moms had been best friends for years; her brother, Randy, was 14 years younger than Marissa, but the two were very close. When they were seen arm in arm by Jason, Marissa had no idea that Jason would become so jealous.
Marissa, known by Jason as the “cake babe,” because he did not know her name, was so very good at what she did that Sissy never even bothered her at all. Marissa just kept decorating the marvelous cake for the reception. She had sworn off men because of her lousy experiences; when Jason came on to her, they both got interested very quickly! There are several characters in this fast-paced story; however, though each is well written and interesting, they are only secondary. This sensual plot tracks the couple through a couple days that prove unimaginable! Ms. M.A. Ellis has written a wonderfully sexy tale which defies love at first sight. The diverse set of characters is almost like your own group of friends. Reading this feels as if you are part of the party! Kudos to Ms. Ellis! I expect you will highly enjoy The Cake Babe.
