This is the first book I’ve read by Ms. Valentine, and it certainly will not be the last. I was captivated and could not put it down. I thought it especially moving that the emotions Marcus experienced growing up were the same emotions Allysa was experiencing as an adult and vice versa. You definitely need to have lots of ice water on hand as the sex scenes are inferno. One word of warning, there is one scene of group sex that is part of pack bonding. It is well written and flows right into the plot of the book. Pick this one up, you will not be disappointed. I sincerely hope this will be the first book of many in this series.
