| Her father has arranged loveless marriage for her, one that Lillian Thomas will avoid at all costs. And what better way to render her unmarriageable than to engage in a torrid affair with the one man she’s never been able to forget? The boy who stole her young heart, the young man her father tried to ruin. This may be her final chance to live out the fantasy which she’s harbored for too long.
Amazed, photographer Alexander Darian watches as an image of a beautiful woman, locked in the throes of self-fulfilled passion, develops before his eyes?and is stunned to realize the woman is Lillian, the girl he’d loved and had been forced to abandon years ago. One might expect Captured to be a typical story of star-crossed lovers. Well, it is -- but it has a delicious twist that will make you sit up and take notice. Author Anna J. Evans ensared my attention with the opening scene of Lillian’s orgasmic fantasy, then tightened her grip a little more when I met Alexander. I couldn’t help but turn the pages, eager to discover what would happen next. Unlike in some novellas, Evans gives us total character development, so the reader understands Lillian and Alexander completely. The tension between the two was incredibly intense, and the love scenes were positively scorching. Evans has an amazing story in Captured, one that I’d love to see as a full-length novel. A near-perfect love story with steam-up-your-glasses sex scenes, Captured is a definite must-read for every erotic romance enthusiast.
