| Jilted! Lady Louisa Bennett, the bride-to-be, sat at the front of the chapel in disbelief. She knew that Grenville, her supposed groom, did not show up because she was too fat! When she voiced her thoughts out loud, there was only one other person in the chapel—Alistair deRoche, Earl of Holyfield, who was supposed to be the best man and was also the absent groom’s best friend. He told Lady Louisa that she was not fat; her curves had attracted him for a long time. However, he knew that Grenville’s father, the Duke, would require him to reschedule the ceremony and marry the lady.
Alistair tried to console Lady Louisa and the two ended up back at his place for some combustible sex! It appeared that each felt the same about the other, but were unable to change the situation. He taught her various positions and “names” for acts and body parts; however, he would not take her virginity. The sensual scenes were graphic with uninhibited language! Whew! This little book packed a big punch! The other characters in the book were explained well in few words. The book was not all sex between the two main people—there was a beautiful story being told! The ending was not at all what I expected. I loved this book and recommend it highly to everyone who likes fire-engine hot sex written into a beautiful love story!
