| Caroline McNulty opens a package and finds she inherited a special Viking charm from her great aunt Helga's estate. It brings back wonderful childhood memories of Erik the Blond, her imaginary Viking hero. Aunt Helga was a romantic who told lush tales of the magic of love, the Norse gods and happy-ever-after wishes coming true. But Caroline's sense of wonder has taken a beating after her cheating ex-husband left her for a young college student last Christmas Eve. So imagine her confusion when a giant, bold, half-naked Viking, complete with horned helmet and sword, shows up at her door! His broken English doesn't make a lot of sense, but when he insists he's there to play, Caroline thinks he must be part of her Aunt Helga's last gift to her. This Viking really is one of her sexual fantasies in the flesh, so Caroline decides to go for it! She gets way more than she dreamed possible when the magic of the special Viking amulet kicks in to give Caroline and Erik a very Merry Christmas!
Caroline's Christmas Viking is a wonderfully entertaining holiday story that will be a favorite no matter what time of year you read it. The wildly romantic premise is a sentimental classic but spiced up with hot sexy scenes, humorous misunderstandings and crazy situations! This is a short story but it reads like a longer, well-developed novel. Caroline is a very likeable woman who takes the Viking by the horns in order to take advantage of what she thinks is a once in a lifetime fling. The fun just begins when she finds out that the too good to be true Viking sex toy is not who she thought! Erik is introduced as an endearingly confusing, somewhat bumbling, stereotype but he turns out to be a true sex god and later a wonderful heroic gentleman in the best sense. Add in a chocolate loving dog for zaniness, the stupid ex-husband for satisfying conflict resolution, more amazing sex and a magical message from Valhalla to guarantee that Caroline's Christmas Viking is a real heartwarming treat!
