Mason and Avery are nicely detailed characters that left an impression on my heart. Ms. Gold gives readers a hot and spicy tale that brings together two men who could not be more opposite. However, their very differences make their story even more interesting and effective. The emotions and concerns expressed by both men are very normal human responses that enhance their believability. I highly recommend The Carpenter and the Fairy to anyone who is looking for a short but scintillating read to warm up even the coldest of nights.
