Marcus Worthington was in love with his wife, until she betrayed him. He has been cold and emotionless since and has no desire to give his heart to a woman again. Carrie Anderson is his employee and has been in love with him for a long time. When Marcus sees her in a BDSM club, he loses it, and realizes that he can no longer have her under his employ. When Marcus tries to give Carrie the pink-slip, she tells him that she's under contract and can't be unduly terminated. She decides to give him a proposition instead, one weekend to teach her everything she needs to learn about being submissive. If he still wants her gone after the two days, she will leave his company without a fuss. Will she be able to change his mind about relationships before the weekend is up?

This was a story of discovery, passion and desire. Marcus wasn't sure if Carrie truly yearned leading a sexual life of submission, so he tested her at every turn. Carrie was definitely woman enough for Marcus without being meek. The sex scenes were varied and numerous, though we do get to see them outside of the bedroom. There's also a ménage scene with Marcus's best friend and I hope to see him again in future books. The book started to lose a little steam for me toward the end. However, I am anxious to read the next book since this is Book One of The Worthington Group series. Do Carrie and Marcus get what they want? You have to read it to find out.
