Brooke and her sister Lindsay are opposites in many ways. Their mother Gail wants nothing more than to marry them both off so she can have grandkids. On a trip to France for a wedding Lindsay's exuberant spirits lead them to explore a vineyard purported to be enchanted. They both pass through a portal to the unbelievable land of Catah where dragons, faeries, elves and others live and love. A case of mistaken identity leaves both the emperor and his sister believing the girls are the lost empress-to-be, Rayna.

Gabrina Garza weaves an enchanting tale of these two girls and a magical land where an evil uncle of the emperor is trying to take over power through any vile means at his disposal. He's a truly nasty man as he keeps his daughter under a spell with addiction and threats.

This is a funny and serious tale as these twenty-first century girls explore the world in the hands of elves. Lindsay is great as a happy go lucky gay woman with sex on the brain constantly. Brook is much more serious, organized, and tender hearted befitting her modern day persona as a nurse. Canen is an honorable man with a heart of gold and the inner strength to be a ruler of such a diverse group of magical elves, dwarves and enchanted beings.

Ms. Garza does the showdown between good and evil well. Rayna is one of those characters that is special and the reader just gets more upset at the villain as we see what he has done to this fine women. The author crafts her story well for a perfect blend of eroticism, suspense, and sweetness.
