Kevin is in a have to have state at the moment. There is a certain wish for a fishing boat but no money to buy it with, so what is a guy to do? Kevin does it his way and puts an advertisement in the New York newspaper offering a trade; for $50,000.- he will do just about anything as long as it is legal. Of course the few responses that come in are pretty wild and then he gets a really crazy one, from a girl named Rachel.

Rachel comes from money and lots of it. At the moment her infatuation is with Juan, a man she'd met in Europe and decided is the one she's willing to give everything up for. Of course her family is going to REALLY dislike Juan for his very Bohemian lifestyle, not even to mention the fact that he might not bathe regularly. But her problem is at the moment and Juan isn't there with her, so just what is she going to do about producing a fiancé? Someone just right to parade before her family; someone who can please her rather snobbish kin? Spotting Kevin's ad, meeting him that same night and having him actually accept the offer the next day, sort of shocks her and she has to work with him to get their story down pat.

It turns out that there are several secrets being kept hidden in this group, some good, some bad and all will eventually come to light, one after another. Rachel and Kevin find that they truly like each other, that the desire to be together, to share even conversation and thoughts take more and more root in their relationship.

There is some great dialogue in this story and some really hilarious thoughts too. This story is filled with zany characters and that zaniness is exactly what makes this a super tale, fitting so well to Kevin's comical sense of humor, and making him so right for the entire family. Wonderful!
