This is a relatively fast paced novel that takes place all in literally one day. It is a light heated romp of fun for an afternoon or evening reading pleasure. The characterization of Derek and Benjamin is very brief and leaves the reader with a sense of not fully understanding the duo and what it means to be a Catkind. Gabriella’s personality as well as life is touched upon but again the reader is left to wonder about what makes her tick. The night the three come together is explosive and the sex literally jumps of the pages. But the ending of this novel seems to be rushed to try and get Gabriella, Derek and Benjamin settled in their love, and then the threat of shots being fired at the three in their hotel! room a nd Gabriella’s sister being involved sets the reader up for the second book in the series. I was intrigued with this story and look forward to the next chapter in the Catkind series. Warning some scenes are not for the faint at heart.
