| Cade, an Alpha Royal Guard of the Black Panther Shifters, was on a
mission to safeguard and transport his queen to safety; but, his job
was compromised when a human woman stumbled into the middle of his
operation. Now, Cade had to quickly discover if this was by design or
just an innocent act preformed by Elaine Spenser all while try to
fight the very strong, instant attraction he felt toward her.
Elaine Spenser day just went from bad to down right awful. First, she was late for her jiu jitsu class which would result in her obtaining a reprimand from her sensei only to learn that the class had been cancelled. Then, before she could return to the parking lot, her car was stolen and to make matters worse her cell phone battery was dead. There was nothing else she could do but to walk home; however, before she could do that Elaine literally ran into a talk, dark, handsome and very dangerous-looking man. Can things get any worst? You bet they can especially when Elaine discovered that humans were not the only living existence in the world. Bianca D'Arc has the beginning of a marvelous saga on her hands with the String of Fate series. Cat's Cradle was a wickedly blend of steadfast conflict and super erotic tension. I loved Elaine's character. She was incredibly smart, capable, very confident and willing to swiftly adapt when faced with unbelievable challenges. Cade simply set my blood on fire. He was a true Alpha to the core with an elite forceful nature, domineering traits and showcasing unconditional compassion towards Elaine. With the exception of a few notable editing issues Cat's Cradle was all that I expected and more. I found the fast-moving plot to be thrilling, suspenseful, passionate and very satisfying. I can't wait to see what Ms. D'Arc has in store for next electrifying installment within the String of Fate series.
