This was an amusing comedic romantic suspense. This story is a little bit of adventure and suspense and a little bit of romance and a whole lot of fun. Stacie is so impulsive and endearing, she is almost naive yet highly educated and intelligent. I only wish I could be as spontaneous as she is. David is as different from her as someone can get and yet they are proof that opposites attract. He is calculated and deliberate, every action is premeditated. When he encounters this chaotic and beautiful woman his structured and disciplined world tilts on its side. I enjoyed watching this controlled man lose his cool over the heroine. The secondary characters are as well developed as the lead couple and I actually look forward to seeing David's sexy coworker getting his very own adventure. While the danger is very real, it comes across as lighthearted and you don't doubt that Stacie will find a satisfactory solution to the entire screwy dilemma; it is just a matter of what former contacts she uses and how much assistance David will have to provide. The pace was good and the tone is upbeat, almost carefree. This was a fun read providing action, adventure and romance and I highly recommend it.
