A simple purple scarf with gold woven through the fabric goes to four different women in a chain letter fashion. Each has seven days to make the most of it and then send it on. Lucas and Amber, Sienna and Adam, Tiffany and James, Grace and Matthew each have their chance to make use of any power the scarf may have to help them live their wildest fantasy.

Ms. Ash has given us four separate stories of women or couples who have a unique need for the scarf in their lives. Lucas’ and Amber’s love is similar to a corporate takeover. Both are very conscious of their position in their company and their sex life. Lucas uses the scarf like a final buy out that works on Amber just as he wanted. I hope it was tongue in cheek because I choose to consider it a funny look at two people who seem unable to communicate without games of some kind.

Sienna is a plain Jane, ‘good girl’ with a hidden sexual agenda. She and Adam are a little more like real people with insecurities. Sienna uses the scarf to help her get over some of her fears and reverse the roles so that she becomes more able to take a real risks that will either make or break her relationship.

Tiffany and James actually build a better sex life and relationship when they have the scarf. Their story involves more open communication than most of the others and it’s one of my favorites.

Grace and Matthew are probably two that many of us can relate to in some ways. They each lust for the other. If not for the scarf and some well placed windows in their townhouses they may never have been able to act on their feelings.

Each of these tales with the scarf the only commonality are erotic. There’s a little BDSM, some interesting conversations and some human beings who only seem to be most fulfilled with help from the scarf. I feel like it started a little slowly but gained a lot of momentum, twists of humor and ultimately turned into a very good read.
