Maya is a doctor with a wonderful bedside manner, when she is leaving the hospital she works at she is abducted by a man who says he needs her help. After going to his home and seeing the children she realizes he is right. When she finds out they are all vampires she's scared out of her mind. Her will to want to help the children outweighs her fear and she soon finds herself working on a cure. The relationship between Declan and herself start to heat up, will she be able to resist his advances and find a cure? Unusual story lines certainly catch my attention and this was one of them and very interesting. Maya is willing to help the children even though they are vampires and one has attacked her. Declan just wants to find a cure for whatever is happening to the children, but finds in the process that he has strong feelings for Maya. This book is great and I think readers will be drawn to the interesting plot and unusual characters.
