She thinks he is just a pest, albeit an absolutely hunky one! His imagination is fuelled with her playing a very major part in all scenes and his fantasy is just plain endless; Lacey doesnt even have a choice in terms of belonging to Chance Bodine. Lacey begins to have mysterious break-ins at her home, which worries Chance. Thanks to the friendship he has with some of the local police, they are able to work together to keep her safe. Lacey then begins to realize just how much Chance means to her heart. If you love a storyline where our hero persists until he can make our heroine face the fact that hes the only one for her, then this should be right on top of your ToBeBought list. A wonderful story! A note: California Cowboy is the story of Chances brother Clay and how he meets the woman destined to be his. Both can be read as stand-a-lone tales, though I would definitely recommend reading both.
