When the gods of Chance and his sister are bored, mere mortals better beware. Breanna is extraordinary even by magical standards as she is a rare breed of shapeshifter. When her secret is revealed, she is inundated with legitimate and illicit offers. If dodging persistent suitors isn't enough, she has been given a key by a meddlesome god, she's discovered a sister she never knew existed, and she must accompany a sexy wizard on his quest to save their world's magic. Terrence has promised his mother not to act on his attraction to Breanna, his sister-in-law's new found sibling. He doesn't know if saving their world or resisting her charms is the harder task.

This was a funny, adventuresome, erotic fantasy. Even though this was the second story, I did not feel I missed anything by reading it first. I will, however, go back and read Sam's story to see if it was as amusing as her sister's. Breanna is one stubborn woman which I found highly entertaining even if she was a little too unwavering in some of her convictions. Terrence has his own major flaw as well as he is quite the womanizer, which is charming but very frustrating for our heroine. It is their individual imperfections that make them such an ideal match for each other. I was beguiled by their interactions although I have no idea how she was able to resist a big hunky hero like Terrence for so long. I enjoyed the supporting characters and the world that was created. Mindy is a hoot and Chance is an intrusive master and I'm still chuckling over the unicorn. The introduction of the pixies was delightful; the descriptions transported me under the magic veil and into the magical forest. I would have preferred a little more action on their journey and perhaps the introduction of other magical creatures. I'm looking forward to the next in the series. I recommend this for anyone who enjoys humor with their fantasies, it's great for an afternoon of lounging around and reading.
