After reading this story I was a little saddened by the events which unfolded that led to Charlie living the way she did. Having such a drastic change from a rich life to a poor one would have been enough to make anyone depressed. But the area she lived in was way worse. And the stupid stunt of her young brother was enough to make you want to shake some sense into him. Why is it that people always think that gambling would make life easier? It only gives a false sense of hope. As for Lynx, he usesher brother’s weakness against him in order for Charlie to take the bait which she did.

And of course he came up with a payment plan of all things. One which Charlie would find herself willing to pay. Lynx was one smart guy and he knew how to manipulate Charlie to do his bidding, but what he didn’t see was the unfolding events to come. A well-written story by Barbara Bradley, The story plot flowed great along with the characters and the story line.
