| Charly Hanson, a 32-year-old divorcee, worked full time and took college classes at night. This was thanks to her ex-husband, Richard, whom she had quit school to support while he got his degree. Now he and his new woman would reap the benefits while she struggled to work and go to school at the same time! When she relaxed in her living room and dozed after lighting some candles, she had no way of knowing her life was about to change!
When the fire alarm woke her, she staggered out of the house into the arms of the first fire fighter to arrive on the scene, Vince Nackos. He quickly realized that she was probably in shock, so he wrapped her in a blanket and left her with the truck. The plot for this story is really gripping; I loved the premise of the woman who was struggling and had no time for herself, personally, but persevered, determined to stand on her own. Ms. Bella Tyler has a wonderful way of presenting a well-rounded story with all the important emotions and sensations necessary for a memorable book. That she did it in few words is a plus. This is a very good book and I would recommend it to anyone. It is light-hearted and fun and, to me, a “feel-good” story. And there’s a bonus…Wrong Number!
