In her sleep she leaves her body and soul-travels to the neighbor’s cabin where a frightening creature has torn them limb from limb and is feasting on the carnage. She wakes and runs to their cabin, but the creature chases her. She slams into a man in camouflage snowsuit and they run to her cabin. She is angry and hurt to find Robert underneath the camouflage. He wants Kate for keeps, but first he has to save her from the Wendigo and beg forgiveness.
I found it a little weird that while Robert, with his AK-47 in hand, was guarding the vulnerable picture window because they wouldn’t be safe until daylight, four hours away, they could forget all about the creature to engage in a little BDSM play with handcuffs, blindfold, flogger, butt plugs and all, but that was really just part of the charm of this delightful love story. Kate and Robert are not only perfect together sexually as Dom and Sub, but she can sense the evil creatures he hunts so they are perfect together professionally also. The sex play is scalding hot, the story is well written with an engaging plot, Kate and Robert’s characters are well developed and very likeable and the end is satisfying, which makes it a plus that most of the story is about sex. Chased By You is a wonderful escape from the mundane and ordinary of the real world. I highly recommend it.
