CheckMate by Kallysten is a unique story that I enjoyed reading. The non-stop action plot drew me in quickly -- weather it was the elimination of vampires or Vincent and Lilia’s lovemaking. Both Vincent and Lilia are equally matched in stubbornness, independence, intelligence, and very dedicated to their cause. The once avowed adversaries are now bond together in blood, body and soul. The passion that flared between Vincent and Lilia was hot and presented in a tastefully, sensual manner that I am sure readers will enjoy. It was very entertaining to discover how Vincent and Lilia had to transition from trying to kill each other to trusting and guarding one another. If you are a fan of vampire paranormal, then you will not want to miss reading CheckMate.
