| Mason is in residency at the local hospital working sixteen hour shifts. His sister, Pamela, works in Area 51 in a top secret job working on a top secret project. She wakes him after one of his shifts and asks to meet him. She hands him the project and tells him to hide it. Mason realizes he's being followed and pulls out the project. It lands him in sixteenth century London. Lewis is the son of a nobleman. He eventually meets Mason and the two start a torrid love affair.
DJ Manly wrote this so beautifully! I would honestly hate to be a homosexual in that time period since it was a hanging offense. Mason does adapt to suddenly being four hundred and forty two years in the past. Lewis is a good man, his parents are pressuring him to get married, but he doesn't want anything to do with the woman they chose for him. He keeps sneaking away to be with Mason. The story had a good pace, the supporting characters where all well written. I felt like I knew them all. In his quest to go back home to his time period, Mason grows, but also falls in love. He and Lewis are a very good couple and I was heartbroken when I thought about Mason leaving him to go home. The pace gradually picked up so much so that I couldn't put it down until I found out what happened! I was happy when it was a 'Happy Ending' but I won't go into details because I don't want to spoil it for anyone. This was a phenomenal story! It was very dramatic, I laughed, I cried and at I ended up hugging myself reading the last few words.
