| Alastrina, the Love Fairy, is tired. Her new and temporary boss is working her to exhaustion. Trina needs a night off. A night to recharge. She heads down to a local night spot called Last Call and feels all eyes on her. Unfortunately for the patrons, Trina in not in the mood to be a Love Fairy, she just wants to unwind and take some time for herself. Unwinding is not what Garrison has in mind when he spies Trina across the room. Garrison is a leopard shifter and both he and his Cat have caught Trina’s scent. He just has to figure out how to make his move and lure Trina into his grasp. Once these two get together the sparks fly. But can their passion survive Garrison’s omission and will Trina forgive him?
Let me say right up front that the one thing I disliked about this story...I wanted more! The main characters played well against each other and left you feeling like they both won. It was enjoyable to see an intimate scene that delved into the empowerment behind the surrender. The writing was fluid and easy to engage in. As I said, I hope there will be more in stories to come that follows the other Fairies and might touch back in on how these two are doing. This was a fun and quick read that leaves you waiting for more.
