| Daria hated vampires after her vampire lover used her. Because of him, her friend wound up losing her life. However, in order to extract her revenge against, him Daria must become a vampire herself. To do this, she needs the help of Alejandro, a vampire with whom she once shared a night of red hot loving. He agrees and together they go undercover. It’s not as easy as it sounds, with Daria struggling to adapt to being a vampire and Alejandro needing to know Daria is safe. It doesn’t help that their passion for each other is all consuming.
Daria's most definitely an alpha female, almost to the point of obnoxiousness. To counter her personality, her mate needs to be an even stronger male. This author manages to give Daria a great mate, one who is so comfortable with himself that he can let Daria make her own choices and mistakes. He seemed to know just how much to push Daria and still allow himself the chance to be in charge. There was lots of action and suspense woven into the plot and it all flowed very smoothly. The twist on the villain’s emotions was unexpected and only added more dimension to the story. The sex was red hot and sinfully explicit! I loved how the plot played out and will look for more from this talented author.
