| It all started as a loud crash that sent Nicholas Berringer straight to his living room. Hurrying down to see the chaos, he finds a beautiful woman that appears to have wings. He has no idea she can see into his feelings and desires. He offers her the guest bedroom but has a hard time not giving in to her and his cravings. Deep down he is consumed to be with her but refuses to cause any heartache. He has no idea that she feels the same for him and is determined to seek him out and allow the passion to sizzle between them not concerned what the morning will bring for Nick.
Angelique has been cursed to be a Christmas angel tree topper. For two hundred years she has seen the joy that others have been blessed with through the Christmas holidays. She, too, wishes to have the same enjoyment. After a slight alteration she finds herself face to face with Nick about to change her destiny. The only problem is once she falls in love with Nick, the curse will reverse to him. Now she wonders can she actually do that to someone that has brought her an incredible night of insatiable joy. The Christmas Angel is an enchanting story that springs with incredible emotions. Nick and Angelique both exhibit a spill of passion that only the other can fully satisfy. It was so in-depth the way Angelique desired to be human. Her actions expand and practically touch the reader’s heart. Ms. Batten-Carew takes two likeable characters and weaves a delicious tale with believability, tender love and affection that laces with electric sparks. She pens a most remarkable read that will make you cry, laugh and applaud with elation while making your heart leap. I love every story that she fashions.
