| Noelle Jacobs has had a crush on Cash McCain pretty much all her life, and he refuses to see her as anything other than a girl the same age as his youngest sister. Consequently, when she asks for a job at the bar Cash runs, he turns her down because she's "too young" to work in a bar. Noelle argues heatedly with him but he refuses to back down. Only when their close encounter becomes something of the "more" kind does she decide to back down and take a different approach.
Cash could clearly see himself turning Noelle over his knee. Especially when she stands on the corner just outside his bar ringing a damned holiday bell at the crack of dawn. If that weren't enough, the woman was tormenting him with wonderful sex that she seemed to be able to take or leave. Which was how he wanted it, wasn't it? Noelle knew she was playing with fire, but anything worth doing is worth doing right and she plans to "do" Cash in every right, and wrong, way possible. After all, a girl needs a little Christmas Cash every now and then... I. Loved. This. Story. Period. The primary characters were too funny and there were some secondary characters that were totally mouth watering. The only thing that felt out of place was the first near sex scene. Hot as it was, it just didn't seem to fit the rest of the conflict line. Of course, the sex was blistering the whole way through and by the end, this reader totally believed the HEA ending. I loved the conflict at the end as well as the resolution. All in all, a very fine addition to EC's Holiday line up.
