| If something bad is going to happen to Molly Scott, it is going to happen during the Christmas season. This year, shortly before Christmas, her whole department gets laid off. Desperate, she takes a job at a singing telegram service. Dressed as Mrs. Claus, she meets the guy of her dreams in a broken elevator. The only problem is, he might just be her worse nightmare instead. Can this year be the year she breaks the curse?
What a hilarious story! Poor Molly has had everything bad happen to her during the holidays and yet she still finds a way to enjoy Christmas at least a little. When she gets stuck in the elevator with Lancelot and George it looks like her Christmas is only going to get worse. But when the sparks begin to fly between her and George, a spark of hope flared to life inside me. In greatly enjoyed the banter between George and Molly. Despite the great difference in their lives, the connection that flares between them gives hope to all of us hopeless romantics out there. This story did a great job of telling how someone’s life can turn around and how to enjoy the holidays despite the situation you find yourself in. If you enjoy books that are sweet and provide hope during the stressful times of the holidays, this is one quick read you shouldn’t miss.
