| Alexis has always felt a little bit different, but her grandmother and
her imaginary friend Alcron have always comforted her. Now her
grandmother is dead, and Alexis is about to start looking for a job as
a teacher. She is also puzzled by the half circle mark on her arm.
Her grandmother told her that it was a birthmark, but she knows it is
something more, and is determined to find out what it is. She is
aware of a growing feeling of evil following her and it frightens her.
Alcron is the only comfort she has left.
Alcron is really the King of the planet Warcon. He is part shapeshifter and part Fae. Alexis is his true mate, sent to Earth for her protection. Now that she is of age, he is ready to claim her, but the sorcerers from an enemy planet have other plans for her. Unfortunately, she has no idea of who or what she is. Although not the way that Alcron planned, Alexis is about to get more answers than she needs. This is a warm and romantic story with some very hot love scenes. Alcron is very much a King and Alexis is a very likable character. Copley the sorcerer is satisfyingly evil. Although I would have liked to know what happens to the necklace, I hope that a sequel is in the works. All in all, this is a very good paranormal story and I recommend it.
