This was a fun quick read. Who doesn't love a hero with a heart of gold and a demon who truly loves children? It's just such a great combination. I love my hotties a little on the wicked side and Peter has a delicious darkness to him. There's more to Lacey than you think at first, I mean you have to give this girl credit when she shows up after his confession. I loved the legend that was revealed so much so I did a little additional research. The chemistry and connection between the couple seems genuine and the love scene was just what I was expecting and flowed well with the plot and pace. I liked the fact that even though this story did have a holiday element to it, it would be just as enjoyable in the middle of the century.
