The author gives us two unique Christmas stories. In Christmas Wizardry Daniel, High Wizard of the Earth gives all of his employees time off. A little lonely he decides to go to town and buy a tree for the holiday. In the process he manages to rescue Merri from some nasty demons. This is a fun, funny, definitely adult bundle of Christmas fun. Daniel is a hoot as he struggles with tasks humans takes for granted and proves to be quite loose with his money. All that is minor as the author weaves some magic around them both.

Elves and dwarves populate Wishing Rights. Pascal is Santa's youngest elf and an herbalist. While searching for coughwort to help the others elves at the North Pole with their winter malady he discovers the dwarf Mallow. The author throws them together even more when Pascal is injured in a rock slide. The kids and the adults help make this a great story. Even Santa comes through and grants a special wish.

Both of these stories just fly by filled with fun, smiles and some quirky little additions that make Santa an even more interesting guy, especially in the first book. Ms. Furrow has a gift for writing scenarios that bring her books and characters to life. Both of these tales are guaranteed to give you some joy for Christmassy reading.
