Three men, one car, and thirty years worth of history in the life of a little orange Fiat fill this tale. For Nicholas and John it enhances their love life until finances make them sell it. Dave keeps it in cherry condition until he gives it to his son as a graduation present. Evan and Leo use it to make a lot of memories before it gets stored in a garage waiting for Tanner to find it and make it his.

Tory Temple pens a unique tale in which a car is the object of men's lust and adoration. Like most women I'd probably just shrug and think ‘imagine that' but Ms. Temple makes this book much too fascinating to slough off. Each of the couples highlighted is a great example of love in bloom. Nick and John have been together for a while but their decision making about the car could make or break their relationship. Evan and Leo find their first romance with another man in the car. For Tanner and Billy the car seems to help bring two afficianados together for more than just their attraction to the Spider version of the Fiat. This is a great read even for those who don't look back fondly at those cars we owned that had a lot of chrome instead of so much plastic.
