| Adam, Reginald and his cousin Rosalind all played together as children. Both boys were in love with their beautiful friend, but she had only eyes for Adam. As they plan to go their separate ways to schooling around the world, Rosalind seduces Adam, giving him her virginity but confusing him by saying some rather mysterious things that he doesnt understand. Their union is more than explosive.
The scene setting is now five years later, with Adams adoptive father wanting Adam to marry. Rosalind returns at this time from Europe, Reginald is back to take over for his now incompetent father and Adams father is very ill. Over the next while, strange dreams and odd happenings fill Adams days and nights. Rosalind is a mystical creature and Reginald complicates the entire situation. Adam is filled with uncertainty and is unsure about exactly what Rosalind wants from him. But the full moon is due and he is about to have the mystery in his life clarified. Fascinating story this is about the Cimmerians, vampires a bit different from the usual stereotype. I enjoyed the plot and must say that I could imagine this evolving into a series, bringing in new characters. Definitely a good story for vampire fans.
