| Angie Bellini had an overbearing mother whose English was so mixed up she often used ridiculous words in completely the wrong way. Angie was the baker at Bellini’s Bakery in Noelle, Alberta, and her mother made certain she knew exactly what was going on. Her idea of a Christmas present for Angie was a man. There was only one man in town she was determined to hate forever.
Wes tried to get Angie’s attention in high school. The fiasco that ended with blueberry pie on Mrs. Bellini’s head was still the determining factor in her hatred of him. Why all eligible men, old and young alike, were asking for Angie to save them a dance at the upcoming wedding in town, Angie didn’t understand. Something strange was going on, but Angie and Wes couldn’t figure it out. Ms. Stacy Dawn has written a great book which was a quick read that was mesmerizing. This book introduced an overbearing mother that was smarter than she appeared. The young couple was a love match waiting to happen. The emotionally charged ending was completely unexpected, but a great close to an almost perfect storyline. The other characters were so entertaining that at times it was laugh-out-loud funny. I highly recommend this book. This is not my first Stacy Dawn book and I hope it will not be my last. This is a terrific read from start to finish. You will be thrilled to read it. It’s bound to be a best seller.
