| Heather Tindale was forced to take a temp job as an assistant to a man who couldn't keep an assistant. Curtis simply can't believe that this temp won't be run off like all the others. She straightens his office, brings him lunch, and protects him from the press. They eventually have sex, erotic amazing sex, and Curtis has a terrific idea. The press is always interested in him -- he's named as the ten best bachelors (all ten of them!) and he decides to ask Heather to pretend to be his fiancée. Then they can evade everyone who wants him to marry. How will Heather (who loves Curtis) handle a “pretend” engagement?
Her Cinderella Complex was a wonderfully sexy and fun book. Heather believed in a happily-ever-after life and she knew that she and Curtis could live happily ever after. However, she had to convince Curtis. Curtis, on the other hand, thought that he could have Heather and eat her too! Their sexual encounters were extremely erotic. I would have loved to have been there! I strongly suggest that you have a partner or toy available -- you will need one. I loved Heather, she was very true to life. Curtis was somewhat less realistic, but he was fun to read about. The secondary characters were well written and helped fill in possible chunks in the plot. I thought that the plot was very smooth without a single bump. Her Cinderella Complex is the first book that I have read by Ms. Bayley-Burke and it won't be the last. What a wonderful book!
