One evening an everyday husband and wife are putting their daughter down to sleep and finally are alone and together. When the wife spins an adult fairy tale for her husband. It’s a very adult and contemporary fairy tale based on Cinderella of old.

All of the traditional characters are present but updated for a modern feel. We have Charlotte Gambrell as Cinderella. Who immediately recognizes her Prince in her boss, James Clarkson? Charlotte’s two bosses take over the roles of wicked stepsisters. They make her life miserable and have her do all the work so that she cannot have a life of her own. And her prince (James Clarkson) doesn’t even know that she is a desirable woman.

Then Charlotte meets a photographer for the magazine and immediately feels friendship and trust for him. Cooper Hunt the photographer takes on the role of fairy godmother. He starts a project to makeover Charlotte, who he sees as a very hidden beautiful woman. Charlotte than asks him to help make her over sexually as well. So by day Cooper is having Charlotte made over physically and at night he is teaching her and turning her into a very beautiful sexually aware woman.

By the night of the ball, Charlotte must decide who is really her prince and what it takes to make a prince.

The story shows that what we might think we need in our “prince” isn’t necessarily what is the prince of our hearts. We need to listen to our hearts, and not just to what we have been told or what we think that we need friendship and trust are just as important as a sexual attraction. Love should never be thrown away - when you love a man he is a prince no matter what his calling. Love is a gift and when we are lucky enough to find love then he is the Prince of your heart and you are his queen.
