Prince Xavier is having a ball to choose a wife. Eldon Cinder is not invited because he can't be a wife. He wants to see the prince to say goodbye, knowing their days of idyllic fishing are over. A witch he's befriended offers to turn him into a lady for the ball. Cinderfella just became Cinderella for the night. Will Eldon have to say goodbye to the prince for good? Or is there a happily ever after in their future?

Utterly charming! A simple sweet and highly enjoyable retelling of the Cinderella fairy tale. I liked Eldon and Xavier, I really connected with Eldon from the beginning. Cinderella happens to be my favorite fairy tale and I've seen and read many versions. This was a delight to read, a real feel good story. It made me feel good reading it. I thought the characterization darn near perfect especially the witch. I was expecting another fairy godmother but I was digging the witch. Jessalyn the evil cousin rubbed me the wrong way and I clapped when she got what she deserved. The twist at the end is wicked brilliant. I'm hoping this is the first of many gay adventures in fairy tale land. I agree with Prince Xavier, "Appropriate is Boring". Well done.
