| Lydia is a successful designer for an Italian fashion house. Raphael is a Greek Tycoon. When Lydia's recently widowed mother Alicia gushes about the younger man she is seeing along with stories of trips to buy expensive clothes and cars, a worried daughter flies to London to find out what is really going one. She finds the handsomest man she has ever seen in her mother's apartment. After giving him a piece of her mind, her mother asks to be introduced; it turns out that he is Raphael, the elder brother of Jason, the man Alicia is actually seeing. Their meeting spurs an instant attraction leading to a roller coaster romance.
Lydia is a very likeable character, if a bit too submissive at times. Raphael is very masterful and alpha. I like the setting of Ocean Breeze and the characters and their friends are very well drawn. Their families are a bit less likable, particularly the parents, it is amazing that Lydia, Raphael, and Jason turned out as well as they did. The plot flows smoothly unlike the couples' lives, but all the tangles get unraveled in the end.
