Grey wasn't happy. As soon as he'd finished one assignment, he's called into the office for another. When he finds out that the assignment involved Dorky and Derek, her colleague, as suspects, he's furious. Especially about Dorky because she brightened his life with her sexy voice. No way could he think she'd do such a thing. But Grey being the professional agent he is put aside his personal feelings and started the investigation. But what he thought would be a simple assignment turns into a life and death situation and a race against time.

Denise Agnew has created an interesting and complex story with many twists and turns. There is undeniable attraction between Dorky and Grey, but Dorky's reticence in telling Grey the whole truth slowed the story down for me and this carried on for several chapters. Once she'd told him the truth or indeed part of it, the story sped up and gained momentum. Over all I did enjoy Clandestine. A few of the twists and turns threw me, which I loved. I loved not being able to guess who the villain was and this story has plenty of surprises. Denise is an undeniably talented author. Clandestine though part of a series stands alone very nicely.
