This was a fantastic read. Cleopatra is a potent main character. It's hard not to admire her kick-butt attitude and her resilence. Michael is the consummate hero and I couldn't blame our heroine for falling for him as I fell a little myself. I'm not sure how I felt for Julius; one moment I cannot believe his arrogance and in the next moment I sympathize with him. I also feel a little sorry for him and his position in the threesome. I hope to see him become more developed in the next story. I loved the new world this author has created using such a famous historical figure and breathed new life into such a mysterious existence. I was so sorry to see the story come to an end because it had taken such an entertainingly interesting twist and I'm looking forward to the next adventure. If you like a bite of humor with your steamy tales then this is one for you.
